Make your own film filter in 4 steps

  1. Start from a film look you like, such as Kodak Portra 400 or Fuji Superia 400.
  2. Open the Develop Lab and adjust the sliders below until it looks right on your photo.
  3. Save it to your Preset Vault with a name, so it's one tap away next time.
  4. Share it as a link. Friends with GoldenHour can open your filter and use it.

The Develop Lab sliders

SliderWhat it does
ExposureOverall brightness. Many film shooters expose a little bright.

SaturationColor intensity; drop it to zero for black and white.
Film GrainGrain that follows brightness: strongest in midtones, lighter in highlights.
HalationA glow around bright lights, like CineStill at night.
Light LeaksWarm streaks of light, like an old camera with a leaky back.
VignetteDarkened corners that pull the eye to the center.
Subject PopLocal contrast that separates your subject from the background.
